GIBBSMO was born on a balmy night in Austin TX in 2003. Legend has it that's when Spiral Stairs of Pavement/Preston School of Industry suggested that a new kind of artist management company needed to be created. A company that was based on friendship and the sharing of ideals, promoting art as well as commerce, utilizing the artists strengths to their fullest to reap the greatest rewards.  Since Spiral is a musician, it was up to me, Parker T Gibbs, a businessman, to create this company while Spiral staggered off drunkenly to his next indie-rock gig. Ultimately, GIBBSMO is about kick-ass music, revelatory art, and people not getting ripped off just because they aren't business savvy.  Its about building business relationships and succeeding for ones art.  Whether you are a band, a solo musician, a photographer or an artist, GIBBSMO can help you achieve your idea of success.
